Laura Keith King of Harrisville, NH (formerly Laura Keith Woerner of Dublin, NH) is a national award winning portrait painter who first fell in love with (finger) painting in nursery school. As a child she ogled paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and took Saturday classes, and at the age of 12 organized and hung an art show of neighborhood children's drawings on clotheslines between trees. Later in life she studied art at Mount Holyoke College, the Harrow College of Art in England, and the University of Rhode Island.

To add life and vitality to her work, Laura draws on the classical knowledge handed down over centuries of portraiture.


She works with painstaking love to create a portrait that not only will be
a joy to behold now, but that also will be treasured as an heirloom for generations to come.
